First Decent Shot

With all the rain photo taking has been sucky at best, but I thought this one is worth a post. The last couple of days on very brief occasion I would see this, but today they lingered long enough for me to get my camera.

Kathi

Yes action has picked up a bit and I did change the sugar water yesterday, probably helped.

You're so lucky!!! I'm still waiting & on a trek to break the latest record when I thought might be earlier than Normal. I'll have to look it up. We always know the earliest but who wants to remember the latest???

Orioles arrived today in force & where here all day so they put a smile on my face.

Good shot! This year has been a difficult one for photos here too, but it looks like you are getting more action than I am. I only have one coming in at a time. The wind and rain is supposed to let up for awhile so will try again tomorrow.

Very nice photo Steve. I drive 120 mi. to see a hummer but your seeing them in your backyard.
So unfair!

Thanks to everyone who commented. Heres hoping those that dont have any hummers will soon be overrun with them. It does seem to go in spurts not seeing them as often currently, but Im confident they have marked my location as a nice pit stop to refuel.

Great capture Steve. I'm sure there will be so many more to come.

Finally, the hummingbird action in our yard is beginning to increase!
