My much-anticipated package came!!!
I've been knitting with yarn from the Stansborough Grey flock in New Zealand. This is the same wool used to make the elven cloaks in the Lord of the Rings movies (yes, I'm a geek. I don't care.

) I just got my latest shipment today! It's such lovely yarn, and knits beautifully. I now have all the yarn I need to finish off my 7-ft scarf. Just in time for...June. Dang it.

I hope to learn to spin this summer, and intend to order some wool from them for that purpose. Oh, and also some of the Just Red yarn: that was used in Faun Tumnus' scarf in the Narnia movie.
