Bree, I was just going to thank you for your advice pertaining to my housing/insulation problem. My husband and I did end up talking to our landlord and we got more insulation! Actually, the insulation situation was even worse than we thought. I live in a state where it gets 25 below during Feb. and March and we found out there was only TWO INCHES of insulation in our attic. NOT GOOD. Now we have two feet. I don't think our landlord was very happy about doing it, but honestly, she is lucky we didn't report her or demand repayment for the previous winter bills. (there are still many rental code violations on the property, but we are not going to push our luck.)

Anyway, thank you for your advice-it really helped with our negotiations.
