Our first rental house was an absolute pit. 1 bedroom, 1 bath, living room, kitchen and uninsulated laundry room. The storage was great, but it was basically a guest cabin type of home. Very small and the bedroom floor sagged away from one of the outside walls so that you could see daylight and leaves could blow in. It was in pretty bad shape, so I've been where you were. Our landlord was trying to slowly get it fixed up without refinancing but it was still taking a long time. Even tried to blame our poor kitty for fleas when it was really the house that was infested! We only stayed there a year (but it was close to my parents which I needed that first year) then we moved to a much nicer apartment. Now we've got our own 3 bed 2 bath 1800 sq foot house with radiant heat. A nice upgrade for the same amount we were paying for the apartment. I hope your house is warmer this winter. You can probably already start to tell the difference with your heating bills, or you will on this next statement!

Life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hair stylist you like. ~Author Unknown
"Never shall a young man, Thrown into despair By those great udulating Ramparts at your ear, Love you for yourself alone And not your curly hair."
"But I can get a flat iron And make such tresses there, Tame, or smooth, or stick-straight That young men in despair
May love me for myself alone And not my curly hair."
"I heard an old religious man But yesternight declare That he had found a text to prove That only God, my dear, Could love you for yourself alone And not your curly hair."
