I am planning a trip for a couple of days in Maui and a week on the Big Island. If anyone has been there I would love to know what you did, what was good and what was not so good.

I was maintaining my length around 42 to 43 inches, but the ends stick out of my favorite bun at that length, so I am growing on toward my goal again.

Oils: Virgin Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, and sometimes almond oil.
Wash: Aubrey Organics shampoo and conditioner, Indian herbs, CV shampoo bars, or Dairy Whip. Wash approximately once or twice a week. Rinse with raw ACV, and final soak in catnip tea after washing. If hair gets sweaty or dirty between washes I rinse with water alone, or maybe ACV.
Sierra Legacy hardwood comb.
Sleep with hair in a homemade silk satin sleepcap when hair is dry, braided if hair is damp, and loose if hair is wet.

Scalp massage seems beneficial to my hair growth, when I remember to do it regularly.

I've been

to Oahu, not to any of the other Islands. We got married there, and my husband's aunt lives there. I enjoyed it all very much, and I'm sure you'll have a great time. I don't really have any helpful hints. I enjoyed the local foods, especially the different fish dishes, and the botanical gardens. Enjoy your trip there!

ACV rinse when I remember to.
Leave in oils jojoba, coconut, avocado, shea butter.

We are thinking of going up to the mountain top in Maui in the night to look at the stars (my DD loves space and mountains, so she is really hyped up to do that). On the Big Island we are planning to see the volcanoes and the beaches with green sand and black sand.

I was thinking they might have nice fish dishes there. happy.gif

back in January 2004 and had a blast!! We took the kids and stayed at a condo. for 8 days.We did all the entertainment stuff, they had some kind of a package deal to do different things. We experienced whale-watching(one of the whales was only 10 feet from our boat happy.gif!).We went to the Plantation where they grow alot of different things. We went in a submarine underwater about I think it was 150 ft. deep.We rode on a train, went to a luau(where my youngest daughter got upon stage and was dancing)etc. It's so much to do,look at the travel package. Also, the beaches were Awesome in Maui,I loved it there, cried when I had to leave.I wouldn't mind living there permanently that's how much I loved Maui happy.gif!!!

Roni,3B-3C curly hair, tailbone length:37 1/2 inches, using castor oil has helped my hair tremendously! 41 years old

We won't be going at the right time of year for whale watching or for seeing huge waves, but it sounds like there is plenty more to do. We are definitely going to the parks there (we are outdoorsy, hike in the mountains types) and I wanted to go to the red beach, but the drive there sounds long and a little bit scary.

On the Big Island we are going to see the volcanoes, of course! Other than volcanoes and beaches I don't what else, yet.

I am curious to see how the beaches there compare to the beaches where I live; I am most interested in the unusual beaches (like the ones with red, black, or green sand).
