Strange..so strange.

June 30 2009 at 12:56 AM

:S I just needed to vent I guess.
Lately I've been feeling strong anger, and anxiety that I've never felt before. I have no reasons, either. I just feel angry/anxious all the time, and cannot concentrate on anything else.... I feel like I'm just going crazy. What do I do? Is there any explanation for this? I feel like I am smothered inside myself somehow.

Argh...why am I so angry???????????? I've NEVER been an angry person before. I'm usually calm and gentle. Maybe too gentle... maybe I supress my feelings too much. :S

Lots of love,
~deanna~

I know how you feel

June 30 2009, 12:35 PM

weird huh? I have actualy been feeling smothered, like i can't breath and so I just get angry. I too am normaly a very quiet person, and I hate just venting my feelings. For the feeling of being smothered within myself the only thing that helps is remembering that I am a child of God and that He loves me no matter what. for the anger I run. I have had this feeling off and on in my life and the only thing that helps the anger is to go fast, and work hard. I hope that noing that you are not alone helps, and that as you work through this the Lord God gives you peace, and if you don't mind I would like to pray for you. God bless,

pretty darn curly, especialy the last 8 inches or so, wavy the closer you get to the scalp.
individual strands are medium to fine, all my hair pulled into a pony tail is about 3 1/2" in diameter.

My length is at 30" pretty close to my 32" 1st goal!! YAhoooo!!

Next goal: classic

I haven't been conditioning, but do coconut oil, castor oil and olive oil in rotation.
I wash with water only and rinse about every day, then slather my hair with aloe vera. my hair loves aloe! happy.gif I have naturaly dry hair, and a dry scalp
I will be experimenting with my very first Henna/cassia treatment within the next little while, we'll have to see how that goes.

First you get a hug. I can understand where you are coming from; however, I have also found exercise a great way to banish those feelings. Whether it is jogging, yoga, kickboxing, you name it can really help alot.

Also, if you can try to determine what triggers your angry sessions you may be able to find some other solutions as well. I sometimes become highly anxious when I have so many things happening at once and there is a big test coming up at school. After talking to some other class mates, who get to feeling the same way, we got together for some positive/mood lifting talks and walks around the campus together.

HTH!!!!

Praying for you...

I think exercise is a great idea, but another thing that could contribute is a hormonal imbalance. Maybe something is just not quite right and could be corrected if you knew what it was. It's something to consider, so if you are able to see a doctor and get some blood work done, that might be beneficial to you.

I don't think it's

July 7 2009, 3:02 AM

strange at all. Nor do I think you're going crazy (crazy people don't worry about going crazy - or so I've been told).

We all have emotions that we don't understand that we have to deal with at times. At your age I would sometimes experience fear for no reason and want to scream. I wonder now if it was partly hormonal because as I'm getting older and closer to the change of life, I'm beginning to experience similar symptoms in the form of panic attacks and feeling claustrophobic.

You're still young and it could be that your hormones are still not in a regular pattern. At this time in your life there are also times when your body and emotions seem to be fighting with you.

There could also be other explanations. Unresolved grief is one. If you think it could be a deeper issue then you need to find someone you can talk to and whom you trust. A parent, teacher, pastor or doctor are good places to start. Too, if it frightens you, then talk to someone.

Very late to the party, but ...

September 9 2009, 8:39 PM

... have you heard of Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs)? You might be someone who is very sensitive to others' moods, to the environment, etc., which sometimes creates some unexpected and inexplicable mood swings. I know that I have to be careful what I read and watch on TV because I sometimes get caught up in the emotion of what I am taking in.

Of course, I also take Zoloft. happy.gif But do a Google search on HSPs and see what you think.
