2. dixie
3. JC
4. vaughan

i put dixie in the 2 slot only because they beat aurora.
jc will have a very good team could easily be 1 or 2
kind of lost on vaughan and markham just kinda guessing here.
st. mikes 1 havent seen them yet this year but they are always atop the south

Looks like everyone considers Markham's 10-0 hot start a bit of a fluke expects them
to cool out and slide back into the pack...... not me.

Markham
ST.Mike's
JC
Vaughan
Dixie

Yep .... 10 wins is no fluke. Markham is strong. Hey they almost took a strong St. Mikes team last spring in the playoffs, and their roster has the same big guns! St. Mikes will have to dig deep to beat them.

My guess ... it'll come down to goal tending.

Markham doesn't have Spezza now (what a crazy guy!) ... what is the new guy like??????

Hansell started game 1 of the series last year. As for MacKinnon I have yet to see him play.

Spezza was no loss for the Waxers. I have a clear image of a play in game seven, which clearly supports my thoughts.

He was a bit of a nutbar eh?!! The way he got upset if he wasn't holding the puck when the play was whistled down in front of his net!?

So this was the guy they started the series with last year ?

My prediction is ...

October 4 2007, 5:32 PM

... that when it is all on the line, the Waxers will choke. This may be yet, too strong a word, but for now, I can think of no better way to describe what awaits Uncle Leo's squad. They will be stunned and in total disbelief this is for sure. I can't wait to see the despair on their faces!!

wexdog....i think its because of where you had pickering and north york. i would have thought that north york would have been at the bottom too and who would have thought that the panthers would have been so bad. thats whats fun...from year to year anything can happen.
lets do this again in september. there will be lots to talk about. the top three in the south have a lot of holes to fill.
