Surprise, surprise, the Otters didn't run the Tigers out of their own rink. In fact, but for Harbach missing an open net, that even "rocky11" could have put in, in the last 2 mins, the game would have gone into O/T, and then it could have gone either way.
For a team that had 5 regulars out and had to call up 2 Midget goalies and play one (Brown) that hadn't played in 3 weeks or more, the Tigers showed a lot of power and determination against the 1st place Otters. I believe that the Otters were at full strength.
Don't be surprised that once the Tigers get back to full strength, the Cats and the Otters may meet again.
WADDELL MISSED A BREAKAWAY OR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 4-2.THERE WERE LOTS OF CHANCES FOR BOTH TEAMS, BUT THE BEST TEAM WON.WHO'S GOING TO SIT WHEN THE 5 REGULARS COME BACK?
Were you at the game? If you were then you would know that Waddell didn't even hit the net on his breakaway, he shot it over the net half way up the glass, wasn't even close.
As far as who will sit out when the 5 regs return. Two of the regulars are goaltenders, that's easy to figure out. The other 3 will fit in, for if you check the Tigers game sheets for the past month or so, you will see that we have been using 2 APM's at least a game, that takes care of 4 regs, the additional one will fit in to the defense rotation that we have been doing the whole season anyway.
