why are the muskies playing in minden? have they played some regular season games there?

Town staff are on strike.  Means no arena staff and even no one to plough the city streets. 

So Lindsays home games have been moved to Minden. Closest place they could get the ice time

Would be my Guess.

CUPE workers in City of Kawartha Lakes have been on strike since Feb 4th,  resulting in closure of all arenas as well as most municipal services.

Muskies played their final regular season game in Minden.

Just got off the phone with Greener's dad.He said the bus is a no go?? It would be too late, and a major storm will be coming Sunday night.Please advise Tom

Just been informed the bus is still on and I'll be informed if it has been officially canceled.

So as it stands the Winchester better have those chicken wings ready for Sunday afternoon around 3pm.

Does the price include admission to the game, or only for the bus?

Just a fast question, will it be a coach Canada bus or???.....leave a little further east and was wondering if there might be an chance to get on the bus from were it was leaveing or along the way.

maybe some of the 700 fans Port Hope has at every home game will show up in Minden for a hockey game. Im sure the rink will be filled over capacity if all the fans could make it out...

And just to add a bit more information, Einstein, we have 350 corporate season ticket holders that are added.If you don't know what you are talking about, just ask.

Price is for the bus ride only.

$20 for bus only ?
Add $10(plus) for admission and it is a $30(plus) evening per person.

20 x 30(or more) = $600(plus) per bus.

I would suggest for that kind of money you could come to Toronto and see a real team.

When was the last time you were with a team that booked a bus???

They run anywhere from $400 - $ 900 depending on a school bus or a coach bus with facilities..

Now do your number crunch. 900 divided by 47 = 19 per head for a seat.

What is the cost to drive your own vechile??

It was posted earlier that is will cost $20 per person for the bus.
Add to that the cost of admission($10 plus) and you are looking at over $30 for an evening of junior 'A' playoff hockey.

Cost more then 20 bucks for a tank of gas to drive to Minden and back.

Not having the 4 hour drive.

Well worth it.
