| - stouffville came in and stole won from the Otters tonight. look for sunday to be a really good game in stouffville as the otters want to get this game back. the long layoff may have slowed the otters stride. |

You can't afford to take penalties against Stouffville. They will kill you. I predicted if you took too many penalties it would cost you. Good Luck |

Craig, what happened? Were the Otters rusty because of the bye layoff or were they just not up for the game? Noticed that Rogers got 3 penalties, other than that it looked like a fairly even game in the penalty department.
Where did the Otters go wrong?

The Otters dominated this game in everything except the score. O'Neill played great, reason why he wastar. Vatri was removed for half the game with a high stick to the face. Lost blood and chicklets. NO CALL.He was taken to the hospital for repairs and made it back for the last part of the third. This is accually the second game that he has been high stiked in a Stouffville game, and no call by the ref. Stouffville carry thier sticks pretty high as a few more hi stik calls could have been called. ok rant done. Otters needed a game to get thier legs back. Stouffville did play well. |

A word of caution "puckpig" don't give your opinion on the refereeing, you may have to face the judge PM87. |

I know the announcement of the final score from last night's game was met with some shock amongst fans at the Canes/Tigers game last night, at least in my section of the rink anyway. I think it's safe to say nobody saw that one coming, that's for sure.
And SMC, just curious - if it's such a "BORING" issue as you said in a previous discussion, why bring it up in another topic? Let it go already, it's the playoffs people, if you didn't see eye to eye with someone before you sure as heck won't see eye to eye with them now with it all on the line! Just sit back and enjoy the games for what they are! |

KH99, is that a new moniker?
What I mean't was the issue was a bit interesting at the beginning but now has run it's course, I have dropped it.
Probably everyone in the ACC1 last night was a little shocked at the outcome of the Otter/Spirit game. But you know it didn't surprise me, I thought that the Otters would win in Huntsville, but as I said to my buddy Craigshaw, Stouffville is one of the toughest teams in the North and in their own rink they are even tougher. After the win in Huntsville, don't be surprised to see them up by two games tomorrow night. If I had my druthers, I would rather take on the Otters or the Hurricanes before the Spirit, they have always given the Tigers a tough time. Huntsville/Stouffville could be a long series as will probably Aurora/Newmarket.
Great stuff isn't it!! | |
