Now the Voyageurs are in the driver's seat as they doubled the Predators in Port Hope 4-2. Mitch Latchford gets the game winner in the second period then Vick Schleuter sends the almost 800 fans away unhappy with the insurance marker in the middle of the third. It was Schleuter's third of the game so you could say he alone knocked off the Preds. Wide shots on goal margin in favour of Kingston.
The Buzzers move ahead in their series with a slim 3-2 win over the Junior Canadiens. Toronto could not hold on to a two goal lead and the winner came off the stick of Justin Troiani halfway through the final frame.
Tristan Zeggil was the hero scoring the game winner for the Otters in front of over 500 in Huntsville. The Spirit had tied the game in the second at 2-2 on a goal by Tyler Gubb while playing shorthanded.
The Blades edged Milton 3-2 as Lindsay Sparks scored the winner just under five minutes into the third. The first three were all powerplay goals, two from the Icehawks from Justin Basso and Jamie Hawkrigg to give them a 2-0 lead followed by one from The Blades Luke Moodie.
..and the Waxers advance sweeping the Vipers in four with David Kostuch doing the job singlehanded..he has been on fire with 11 playoff goals for Markham. Final 3-1. Only Jamie MacQueen could beat Kyle Rank..a playoff power outage by the Vipers for sure and a big boost for the Waxers.
