OMHA ruling changes Jr. A, minor hockey playoff schedules

A ruling by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association has resulted in new dates for minor and junior hockey playoff games in Stouffville this weekend.
The Stouffville Spirit will play the Aurora Tigers in Game 2 of their Provincial Jr. A Hockey League North Conference final Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Stouffville Arena. The game had been scheduled for Saturday. The series opener goes tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Aurora Community Centre.
The Stouffville Clipper bantams will play Quinte West Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in Trenton in their OMHA A semifinal. The juvenile Clippers and Quinte West resume play in their semifinal series Sunday at 4 p.m. in Frankford.
Both games had been scheduled for Stouffville.
Quinte West, which lost home-ice advantage when opening games in both series were cancelled due to snow last Frday, argued successfully for the change in venues.
