Is it me ... or have the Ads gotten out of hand on here recently? Breasts spilling, butts standing ... I wouldn't want my 11 year old coming on here to read the posts. I used to encourage him to ... no more.

buzzguy you are not alone here, I also have a 12 year old who reads here. Maybe those running this site could clean it up a bite.

I don't have any young kids, but they make me wish I was a lot younger.
Seriously, the ads on both forums are getting to be a major pain in the a$$.

But Wexdog , as administrator of this site, goes into his own pocket to pay to keep the ads to a minimum. As such, he's the only one who knows how to do it.

But Wex is out of commission for the time being as we al know.

There are some pop up blockers available to you free of charge, that might help to minimize the ads.

Postal might be able to help us in identifying some of the better ones.

Any way, Pepsihead , you can get in touch with Wexdog , to see if there is any way we can assist him in reducing the ads?

I know you live in the same area as he does.

Didn't we talk about this before? I think we discussed paying or donating a fee to Wexdog to offset any personal cost that he is bearing to keep the Forum going. I for one am in favour of doing that. This Forum should be kept going at all costs.

Maybe "pepsi" can get the ball rolling with Wexdog.

I use firefox with ad block and No Script extensions.

Download and in Stall FireFox

Then use FireFox to go here and download the no script extension

Then use FireFox again to go there and download the Ad Block Plus extension

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

All are free programs and I haven't seen an Ad since I installed these programs.

If one does slip through you can right click the Ad and select Block next time it won't show up.

Its not so much the Ads ... as I know that the site has to pay for itself. But these gals with their .oo1 naked bodies ... its just too much for a parent. I just don't like them ... they can run metamucil ... coke ... whatever. Its just the 'Mate1' ads ... which are ridiculous.

I will use my feeble computer skills and try to download those firefox thingys later.

One thing you are guaranteed to make money off of on the internet is selling sex.

Hence the Mate 1 and 98% nude ladies.

It is well worth the trouble downloading fire fox and the rest I haven't seen an Ad in many a years.
This works for other sites too. I barely see any ads when surfing. Plus with the No Script extension you are safer from hackers. Not 100% but definitely an improvement.

I was using Firefox. I simply installed those add-ons as you suggested.

It has really made a big difference, I see.

Once you have Firefox installed, just copy and paste those 2 links Postal gave us, Buzzguy .

It will do the download and install them quickly for you. Once you have restarted your Mozilla Firefox browser, you should notice the difference in the number of ads you see when you visit the forum.
