SMC and Dukester ?
An Aurora/Wellington league final?

It's looking a lot like the Tigers and Dukes on a collision course repeat of last year's league final. If it goes that way, I think the Dukes can take Aurora who are not the powerhouses of last year. Then, again, I've been wrong before, haven't I, DJ ?

Don't count on it Wayne.

First of all the Tigers have not retired the Spirit as yet. I remember the Tigers having the Georgetown Raider powerhouse team of 2005 on the ropes with a 3-1 lead in the North/West Championsip. I cringe at thinking about what happened after that.

Don't know whether Wellington is better than last year's team, I don't get to watch them during the season, but I can tell you that the Tigers are starting to remind me a lot of the RBC Tigers of last season.

Of course we are discussing something that is still far in the future, there is still a lot of hockey left for the Tigers and the Dukes. I enjoyed the Dukedome so much last year, I would love to be there again, but Oakville, Georgetown, St Mikes, Markham and Stouffville may have other ideas.

Is that humility I'm reading?
