It is their perogative.

But it is always nice to continue hearing from them. Even if it's a congratulations to the winning team over their team. Even if they still have something to add as they watch while the rest of those lucky teams which are not ours ,contest a league title.

This much is true. That all of us do have something in common. As Wexdog has often said, he'll be cheering for the OPJHL representative/s in the Canadian Junior Championships at the Royal Bank Cup.

For this reason, I like to stick around the forum until at least the OPJHL has been decided. Then I can launch into one of my favourite seasons. Summer time and the living is easy!

Eerily quiet? Yes. A period of sadness. A time to reflect? You follow a team closely for so long ... you end up investing a lot in their success. And you also respect their loss as you know that in the end ... you are only a fan. But it was their sweat and blood shed on the ice. Its all very ... hard, to see it end.

I agree with M71 ... why bite? I am here because I love the game, and love to see the progression from Sept to now. These kids, and believe me ... they are lots of kids on the Buzzers(!) ... grow into men before your very eyes. It reminds me so much of my days as an Outward Bound Instructor ... working with teenagers.

I thought the Buzzers would prevail. Markham turned out to be a great team by March. I wish them the very best. Truly I do. May they bring glory to the SOUTH again!

Curious .... when the Waxers were handed that trophy, did they notice that the last three winners were all one team? Think they can three peat too? Naught likely!

Actually ... they are playing awesome. And they deserve all the accolades this year. Kostuck and Sheu are going out in style and what a great team to watch right now.

curious??? im sure the waxers were not looking at the past three years as they dont matter but it is an expected comment that shows again the arrogance that a lot of people find annoying and why so many were happy to see the waxers win. good losers and humble winners are worth cheering for!

Oh Wingfan give it a rest ... your protests are tiresome. If your team had won so often you'd enjoy it too! The bleating here is just so plain pathetic. You and your kind come out of the woodwork every time any fan of the Buzzer says a word. This forum is for everyone ... if you can't handle someone from 'the team you hate being on here too' ... get some help! Enough people have already hinted on this thread that you need it. And if you are quietly giggling because you think you are somehow getting back at the hateful buzz ... you are even more sad than I thought. I just think your comments are a waste of space.

when have i ever had A team that i cheer for more than others. i frequent games in the north and south and occasionly the west. i try and see a few ncaa and cis games as well. i have some teams i enjoy more than others and some that i dont care for. over the years i have not liked some of the crap that st mikes has done i.e. rory smith running goalies and years ago henwood running players . the coaching staff of any team that sends players to try and get other teams better players off the ice will get me mad . ask me what i think of the recent roy antics and my response will be the same. if and when your team stops these antics i will have an open mind . as long as this goes on i find it hard to cheer for them in any way. the suspensions that were handed down this year to the player as well as the team personell will hopefully put a stop to this behavior. there is no place for it in todays game. period. i look forward to the day when i can cheer for your team, i really do.
