I am just so thrilled that I had to add to the post. The Sens had better hope the Leafs don't make the playoffs or they will exit at the hands of the Nations team for the 5th consecutive time!!

While any Sens loss is considered a victory for the leafs, they are still in the worst position to end a season... They won't make the bottom 5 for a chance at the top draft picks and their chances of making the playoffs right now is around 4%.

This season has been a disaster, changes have to be made. The only reason they are playing good is because there is no more pressure on them to perform well and that's a problem because it's satisfying leaf fans making the organization happy. When they are happy nothing gets done as all they care about is the bottom line.

I've still stuck with my rule and haven't watched a leaf game since the trade deadline. They get no support from me until they make serious changes for the future.

Your right they haven't made any changes, however they have proved they can play and win without Sundin in the lineup. That does build some confidence in the younger players. They have to perform and they are certainly doing just that.

Are you protesting the fact that they made no changes or are you simple put a "Band Wagon Jumper?"

I'm upset that changes haven't been made. Since the beginning of this season I've been saying I will not watch a game after the trade deadline if serious changes aren't made to the team for their future. Why should I give the organization my support if they don't care what the fans want? They don't listen to us, they never do and while I know if I quit watching games it isn't going to do anything, it's at least my part in saying do something instead of being satisfied with 8th places finishes.

If every leaf fan stood up and said were not going to stand for these money hungry scumbags called 'the owners' changes would get made. The problem remains that whenever this team has their 'winning streaks' everyone forgets who's behind the organization. All the owners care about are these 10 game streaks throughout the season to satisfy leaf fans knowing they'll continue to buy every merchandise and every overpriced ticket they throw at us. It's a joke.

Sorry for the rant lol.

Any organization that had leadership at the top like Dick Peddie does not deserve any support.

Toronto Maple Leafs= Ford Motor Company

"I've been saying I will not watch a game after the trade deadline if serious changes aren't made to the team for their future."

Why the trade deadline? That is considered to be the worst time of the year to make a trade.

Why not wait and see what type of a GM they hire in the summer. Let's see what off season moves he makes to improve the clubs position in the standings?

I don't follow why you would stop following a team mid-season. It is your choice, I just don't understand the reasoning behind it.

Yea maybe I should've done the opposite and not have watched a game all season until changes get made... but I think I just couldn't wait to see hockey again. If things don't improve over the the summer I will however keep this going all the way in to next season.

I'm just a frustrated fan and until ownership changes I don't know if I'll ever be able to watch another leaf game... I'm just that disgusted and suddenly don't understand why fans just accept everything the organization throws at us. It's just not right.

If I am not mistaken wasn't it last year the " Big Guns" were injured at the end of the season and the Call ups made a gr8 run to the play offs?
Does that tell you that the team gets better with the Marlie call ups or are they just lucky?
Another statement to go " hmmmmm"
