The Cornwall Colts host this year's Royal Bank Cup but they are out of the CJHL's playoffs.

The much talked about acquisition by Cornwall of the OPJHL's Peterborough Stars' Alain Joanette did not translate into a championship. But the Colts get another chance at the tier two big prize when they host the RBC in May.

But former Cobourg Cougar Patrick Jobb is still alive with the Brockville Braves in the league's semi-final against the Smiths Falls Bears.

Here is a look at the CJHL playoff series' surviving four;

(1) PEMBROKE vs. (7) HAWKSBURY
PEM leads series 1-0

1. HAW 2@PEM 4
2. PEM@HAW Mar 25, 7:30pm
3. HAW@PEM Mar 28, 7:30pm
4. PEM@HAW Mar 30, 8:00pm
*5. HAW@PEM Apr 01, 7:30pm
*6. PEM@HAW Apr 02, 7:30pm
*7. HAW@PEM Apr 04, 7:30pm

* if necessary

(2) SMITH FALLS vs. (4) BROCKVILLE

1. BRO 1@SMF 4
2. SMF@BRO Mar 25, 7:30pm
3. BRO@SMF Mar 28, 7:30pm
