Kingston Frontenacs Rumour

I generally don't propogate rumours, but I thought I'd pass it along to see if anyone else has heard the same or can refute it.  Apologies ahead of time if this is not true...but the source seems knowledgeable.

So the rumour goes, Coach Jerome Dupont is now being courted by Kingston to take over the coaching reigns of this OHL team.  The only item of discussion that remains is that Jerome desires full reign of operations.

His success at the OHA level certainly has earned him a shot at an OHL position, and I wish him the best should indeed these rumours be true.

Can anyone substantiate or refute these rumours?

If nothing else, I can see JD being a top choice for many OHL positions. Good luck to him if that is something he is interested in. The Atlanta GM has stated that the coach from Kitchener is number one on there list for a new coach. If that happens, I can see Spott moving up to HC like CD did in Oshawa.

It's not a rumour, the news was first aired on 590 radio a week ago.

Expect Todd Gill to be named Frontenacs head coach.
