What the hell's up with you Wexdog? I casually stop by to have a read about the topic which I'm "apparently" no longer allowed to talk about, and when I'm done reading everyone’s posts I noticed that the 'Dog has locked the thread from any further participation, can you believe it?
After everything that the 'Dog has spewed throughout the years, holding anyone everyone accountable for their actions, all of a sudden the 'Dog just doesn't feel like discussing this issue any further! Well isn't that nice? What the hell is wrong with you Wexdog? Have you fallen victim to the legal threats issued by the team, have you 'Dog?
Listen up for a minute 'Dog, and take it from someone whose had a near life ending experience with my 20 year relationship with alcohol prior to my ten years of recovery. Not to express our concerns and hold any adult serving alcohol to a minor is more of a crime than the idle, unwarranted threats issued by a team within this league.
Let me assure you 'Dog, that I have seen all of those pictures. I have also saved them into a separate folder on my home/laptop computer should I ever have to access them as graphic evidence of what had transpired. I've got to tell you Wexdog, that I was held hostage, captive for twenty years of my life by a disease which convinces the sufferer that they don't even have it! The disease in case you don't already know ....... ALCOHOLISM!
I refuse to EVER again allow any person, place, thing or situation to take me hostage and that includes any threats from a hockey club for which I have done NOTHING wrong! The only thing worse than alcoholism is the denial that associates itself with the disease!
DENIAL isn't the longest river in the world, but there sure as hell are plenty of people who seem to enjoy swimming in it! You've really surprised me on this one 'Dog. I thought you more than anyone understood what it meant to respect the integrity of the game, the security of the young players and the accountability to do the next right thing in front of you!
This entire situation stinks with irresponsibility, denial and accountability and you're not helping it in any way 'Dog! I know that it can be intimidating to be threatened by someone, something that has the financial resources to defend themselves to the bitter end. But the scenario that has an overwhelming mound of evidence stacked against it would never hold up in court if challenged.
With the overwhelming number of observers, players and coaches who have played an integral part of the activities in question, there is no way in hell any judge would accept the claims that have been expressed on a team’s website. In conclusion 'Dog, all I can say is that you've been intimidated!
The tail is officially wagging the 'Dog (so to speak, lol). You've allowed yourself to be bullied into submission 'Dog, and I for one am extremely disappointed how you've compromised your own integrity! Nothing like co-signing the bullsh!t of others is there 'Dog? Just like the animal kingdom we humans can be very predictable primates as well!
When we're beaten/intimidated by those, who by their own admission claim to have dominance over us, there WILL invariably one of two reactions. One will be to lash out in fear (even when we know that we're wrong) as an organization has chosen to do. The other is to cower in the corner, as you've chosen to do 'Dog, what a shame! Neither is any more damaging than the other, but BOTH are very sick behaviors.
I'm terribly sorry if I've offended you Wexdog, but as my best friend said to me some eleven years ago, "I'm not here to spare your feelings, I'm here to try and help you" ... and so are we 'Dog. I'm going to copy and paste this submission "In The Cage ....", as I have a feeling that a lock may get put on it here, so stop by sometime to see what the thoughts are on this topic!
