The OPJHL season is over, the OPJHL playoffs are over and now the Dudley Hewitt is over, what's left? it's on to the RBC Cup in Cornwall Ontario.
But first, huge congratulations to the Oakville Blades, their coaching staff, the players and the entire organization for winning the right to represent Central Canada at the 2008 RBC. It's been a long road for you, 5 series to be exact, and now the all important 6th series coming up in Cornwall, for the coveted Royal Bank Cup, emblematic of Junior "A" hockey supremacy in Canada. Believe me, having been there, it will be an experience that the Blade organization will never forget and if successful in winning the Cup, it will be something that you will all cherish forever.
So good luck Oakville, play hard and above all represent our OPJHL with dignity and pride and bring the RBC Cup back to Ontario for the 2nd year in a row.
