Gonna need a lot of luck to beat the Broncos playing like both of those teams have been this week.

Forget it Wex, the Blades just played the 2 weakest teams in the tournament and came out losers on both. Unless they turn it around 110%, the Broncos and the Kodiaks will run over them. Like I said before, without Greenham in net, Oakville is just another ordinary team. Just look at tonight, the Crushers scored 5 goals on 29 shots while the Blades scored 4 goals on 45 shots. Not exactly a goaltender's duel was it.

If it wasn't for the gal doing the colour commentating, I would have fallen asleep. The play by play guy is about as exciting as a "kick in the B*lls". I'll never complain about the Newmarket Rogers' guys again.

At this point I just hope that the Blades can win 1 game to gain back a bit of their self respect.

play by play guy sounded like he was announcing a baseball game, while the girl just kept making stupid statements. My favourite gem was when she said it was back and forth hockey and then the next sentence said Oakville was badly out shooting Weeks.

I said that a long time ago, but to be fair you could take away a top goalie from any team and it usually will follow the same script.

Blades undoing was that they did not play Wren enough. He has not played that bad, but the team needs to have a comfort level in the goalie just as much as the goalie needs to play well.

What happened to Greenham?

he's 21 and if he played he would lose a year of NCAA eligibility.

Greenham turned 21 just before the playoff round of the Dudley, therefore may not play unless he gives up a year of hockey at the NCAA level.

You have any forums for other leagues that we can go stir the pot in? I found an MJAHL forum, but could not find an SJHL forum. I did find one for AJHL at hockey talk, but it does not seem that good.
