I had a chance to talk to your new GM and coach, 09hawks here at the Dudley.

As many know TC is a colourful and unforgettable character. And Trenton's new coach, Matt (his 2nd name escapes me), is a protege of Brett Meyers. He coached North York last season.

You can bet he'll do a first rate job in Trenton next year if Tim gets him the players. The Trenton fans can look forward to a great season.

I did not know whether it was official or not. When it is, I am sure it will be made official by formal announcement.

But the coach of the North York Rangers last year was a young man by the name of Mathew Muir.

Rumour has it a former Trenton Sting player is going to be the assistant coach. I saw him a couple times during my travels in the Senior AAA league this season but never got a chance to talk to him.

The fact that it's a "new" team in Trenton, again, makes his comment all the more funny. I had a chuckle. I like facetious comments.

As hockey in draws to a finish, topical humor about your rivals seems only fitting. Tucker may have touched a nerve with some and tickled the funny bone of others with thick skin. Either way, nicely played.

Jim just wondering what the time frame was for announcing the winner of the contest and will you publish it here ? It's a nice thing involving the community this way and lots of interest here on the forum too i think to see the winning design here as well.

This was my reply to the same question: Looks like they have their work cut out picking a winner. Sounds like there is lots of creativity to select from.
