Just wanted to let everyone know I will not be back next season - it was great to be home for a little while, see some Waxer games, and reconnect with many old friends.

Yesterday, I was offered a new job with the same company I was with, and I'm moving to Winnipeg next week.

I'll try and check in once in a while, although I'm guessing I'll be kept entertained by the Moose, the MJ and random trips to visit my mom's friend in Brandon who is a billet for the Wheatkings.

Yes Good Luck and Enjoy. The winters can freeze the eyeballs in the sockets and the Winnipeg Air Force(mosquito's) are big enough to knock you off yor feet. I Spent a year one -40f winter day out in Gimili. I loved every minute out there and yes lots of great Hockey and fans out there for sure!

Just go watch the Portage Terriers instead.

thank you very much, everyone. It was a long drive, 4-cyl cars are not made to tow u-haul trailers through northern ontario, but I made it, and am now enjoying my 2nd day on the job.

I get another raise in a few months if i do a good job - meeting my new staff today.
