| Some new faces the fans are going to take a liking to come from local rivals the Aurora Tigers. Jumping the fence and joining the Blues are defenceman Derek VanNess and all star forward Mike Bodley.
"Bodley was 4th in scoring for the Tigers last year, without a lot of PP time....he's a veteran player that saw our lineup this year and wanted to be a part of it. VanNess is a Windsor Spitfire draft pick that immediately caught our attention in June camp, with his size and skating he'll fit right in" explains GM Standen |

my sources tell me it was a cash deal.
things looking very interesting in Blues country
even though they only have 2 -20year olds (McQueen and now Bodley)
the team is going to have some veteran presence with players who are entering their third year in the league (and some pretty strong second year players as well)
Friday nights should be lots of fun this season.
Pretty impressive stuff for three different groups of people having a hand in putting the team together over the past three seasons
Ken Burrows, Dan McIlhone, Richard Gauthier, Chad Moreau, Paul Jennings, Gord Zeggil, Tom Leggatt and now Myles McCauley, Don Standen, and Darrell Mussell.
Of course if it doesnt work out as well as i think its going to... the guys i mentioned will all say shut up dale !
