Made it down to the gardens last night to catch 2 1/2 periods of the game and liked what I saw. With what is still an undermanned squad Trenton managed to not only beat there southern rivals the Dukes but in my humble opinion, control most of the play. In a rather uncharacteristic move on the Dukes behalf they spent more then their normal amount of time in the box, a trend I'm sure the coaching staff in Wellington will skate out of them. Trenton's tenacious forecheck and crisp passing through the neutral zone exposed, what for most of the night was a Dukes team in catch up mode. Its too bad that these two team s won't meet in the regular season, hopefully in he future we can look forward to more meetings at their respective rinks.
