(Toronto, ON) - The Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL) and Coach Canada - A Stagecoach Group Company are pleased to jointly announce a landmark busing agreement. Effective immediately, Coach Canada will become the Official Transportation Provider for the CCHL. Under the agreement, Coach Canada will provide deluxe motor coach and mini-bus transportation to CCHL teams for exhibition, regular season and play-off games throughout the 2009-2010 season.

The newly established CCHL will begin regular season play on September 9th 2009. The twenty one (21) team league includes eight teams who were participants in the OHA sponsored Central Division pilot project (Cobourg Cougars, Hamilton Red Wings, Markham Waxers, Newmarket Hurricanes, St. Michael's Buzzers, Stouffville Spirit, Toronto Junior Canadiens and the Wellington Dukes) along with thirteen additional entrants from across the OJHL -Seguin Bruins, Orangeville Crushers, Lindsay Muskies, Peterborough Stars, Bowmanville Eagles, Burlington Cougars, Whitby Fury, Streetsville Derbys, Ajax Attack, Dixie Beehives, Pickering Panthers, North York Rangers, and the Upper Canada Hockey Club. The CCHL emphasizes rigorous operating standards and an increased commitment to developing young hockey players for the Ontario Hockey League, Canadian Interuniversity Sport, National Collegiate Athletic Association and other higher levels within the sport in Canada and abroad.
