It is too early in the season to go with a Top Ten, so for now it is a Top Five.

Just my opinion and having some fun.

1.Markham always seen to ice a good team and this season is no different. I am picking the Wax as my early favorite to win the 'C' this season. They have yet to be tested so I may be eating my words in the next two weeks.

2.Newmarket is one of two undefeated teams in the 'C' at 4-0. I predict the 'Canes will be in first in the West by this time next week.

3.Wellington are always there. I almost put them fourth, but until I know more, third is where I have them.

4.Orangeville is the other undefeated team(A shootout win over Ham. has been left as a tie). I see the Crush and 'Canes battling it out for first in the 'C' West this season.

5.Burlington are currently in first in the West. I will keep them in the top five until they I have a better feel for the CCHL.

Honourable Mentions(in no particular order)

Cobourg
Bowmanville
Ajax
Seguin

It will be very competitive especially in the West, right now you would have to favour the Burlington Cougars because of their firepower and overall skating ability but Newmarket, Markham and Toronto will be pressing them and look for the Wings to get better after a slowish start..they lost the first two of the season to the Cougars..Orangeville has a good squad but relies a lot on Vassos, Connolly and Arnold. The Derbys have started out strong but seem to have a way to self-destruct- perhaps not this time around.

The Waxers look capable of dominating the East- Wellington lost a ton of talent but will be there. Cobourg seems much improved and remember the slow start Peterborough got off to last season.
