If Wayne Gretzky trusted his instinct when he felt it was time to quit playing, I am certain he trusts it again.

I am certain he has his own reasons and whatever they are, he is entitled to exercise them.

I trusted him as a player doing the things he knew he could do best. And now, I trust him as a person to do what is right for the organization, his family and himself.

Knowing what I know of Gretzky, I can be reasonably certain his decision was not all about just himself.
