Thats all fine and dandy but i bet there was less than 120 folks in that rink and I think I was generous, this includes the "rink-rats" .!
Craven you must realize our rink seating is spread around the whole building .If it was just one side like most rinks are know you would say there is no seats to be had.THINK POSITIVE NOT NAGITIVE.GO HAWKS GO
if Tim (pointstreak) said there were 350 people at the game the true number is much lower. last year in port hope the amount of the winners share of the 50/50 was pretty close to actual attendence.
HA. HA. HA. HA. Anything thing to complain about.Nobodys perfect anything to BITCH about.Anyway its not about how many people are at the games its about these boys playing hockey.Trying to put good hockey back in Trenton lets get this team off to good year and put you and your freinds in the seats as we did for year.GO HAWKS GO.

Been going to the games there for many years.. last night was like the fire alarm was pulled and everyone left.

Interesting.. from reliable sources, I heard "volunteers" must pay to attend a game they may not be working and THAT is fine, however it seems the owner would like maximum apying fans. Why wouldn't he.? So , for you to say "its not about how many people are at the game its about these boys playing hockey."
One would think for a franchise to work, one must put arses in seats... just speculating.?!!!
Love them new jerseys, btw.!
Nobody's perfect and nobody is bitching.. just fed up with lip service. I didn't win the 50/50 last night as i used my line up sheet from the last game.
Volunteers paying?....if this is true......disgusting and shamefull. I would like to see just exactly who would run the game night if every volunteer failed to show up!
I must say this is what I was told and to reiterate what I was told, if a volunteer chose not to volunteer his/her time at a certain game...and chose to attend said game, they were required to pay admission. Hopefully someone who might be a volunteer can clarify (hopefully anonomously).
I would really hope someone could prove this wrong. I personally would find it hard to believe but like I said.. hope I'm wrong.?
1.Did you mean that volunteers had to pay to get into the arena to do home game ?
2.Or did you mean that if the volunteer chose to go to watch a road game the volunteer had to pay his/her own way in ?
If #1 that is crazy, who would volunteer.
If #2 then that is different. If Wexford did not give Pepsi and I a league pass we would have had to pay all those years to go to road games.
I appreciated the pass most at playoff time, I got to avoid the line.
There is something the leagues should do, create a volunteer's pass.
The pass should be honoured at all games in both leagues.
