Of Georgetown, that is.

Kingston Voyageurs would do well to keep looking straight ahead rather than over their shoulder in the OPJAHL standings.
Talk about balanced scoring in the Georgetown machine. They have 13 players on their roster who have at least a point game clip and only 3 listed who have not recorded a single point. But, they are all defencemen.
The Vees have just 4 at a point or better per game pace and 8 on their current roster who have not recorded a single point.
The Raiders are just a pair of points off the Vees' pace with the Vees a game in hand.
They have outscored the Vees 70 goals for to the Vees' 48. In fact, Georgetown is one of 6 teams who have scored more goals than the Vees in the OJ.
Key for the Vees' continued success will be to focus on their defensive team play and their goaltending. If they land another sniper, so be it. Goaltending guru Cooper has his work cut out for him in tutoring Vees' two young goaltenders. Head Coach Robinson and assistants Goulet and Foster may well look at emphasizing continued team defence as a formula for success.
If they do a little digging, they will find that the Greater Kingston Senior Soccer Association's team, AS Roma, who won a triple crown two successive years just this year, it was their goals against that stood above everybody else's.
It is said that good offences win games but good defences win championships.
I think this season might well be the time to find out if the principle applies.
