TORONTO - The St. Michaels Buzzers organization was deeply saddened this morning to learn of the passing of aspiring singer/songwriter and recording artist Taylor Mitchell who performed the Canadian National Anthem at St. Michaels College School Arena prior to game two of the Central Division Quarter Finals against the Toronto Jr. Canadiens on February 15th, 2009.

It was an honour to have had Mitchell lend her outstanding talent to the Buzzers in her fine performance of the anthem last season.

On behalf of everybody involved, the Buzzers organization wishes to extend its most sincere thoughts and prayers to Taylor Mitchells family as they deal with this tragedy.

Very sad occurrence. Its all the talk out here because of the rarity, if not non existence, of a Coyote attack on a person in these parts.

Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of this young lady.

How very shocking and tragic.

Every time I learn of a person's death, I am always reminded of all the people that person touched in their lives.

Friends, family and often strangers.

It occurs to me that they will carry her legacy forward with them. And when they do, some sense can be made of this untimely death.
