I was glad to see on pointstreak that the Buzz have been winning a few and are actually flirting with the idea of playing a 500 season. But I must say ... there is a lot wrong with the way things are going.
I went to the website to check out a few things.
1) The 'schedule' button just goes to a screen crying about technical diffulties.
2) The stats button take you to a page where the stats haven't been updated since after game TWO! of the season.

There is a lot not attended to over at the St Mikes barn (the list is long) ... but for a team claiming its the best there is ... you wouldn't believe it from their website.

Perhaps they're trying to do too much?

Or perhaps something wonderful is about to come out. Why duplicate efforts, right? Here is a tease:

I heard St. Mikes was building a new website and thats why things weren't getting done on the site

With all the increased overhead expenses that they moaned about in their letter to the players in order to justify the $1,800.00 charge to each player, I surprised they would spend $$$$$$ on a new website.

Maybe the new website is being redesigned "pro bono"

That "bizzy blah" website just happens to be #1 in receiving more hits than any other team's website in the OJAHL and the CCHL.

how would someone who claims to not be on the inside of a team aka im just an announcer know something as detailed as web page stats for a team and all the teams in both leagues? im sure the cchl would be very interested to know how you are party to their stats!

but also remember a good 1/2 of the cchl teams or more have their own website and not the pointstreak crud you are referring to.

your old website was way better. what you have now and most teams have is a laugh. even the cchl and ojahl sites are a joke for leagues their size. i love reading press releases..woooooooo so exciting.

PM, there is something drastically wrong with you and it may be a mental problem.

So, when the owners and management staff meet with their volunteer staff and pass on this type of information ie: website hit data kept by the OHA, then it means that the volunteer staff must be connected to the ownership and management of the team.

Wex, I think maybe you are suffering from the same mental problems that PM is, do you guys socialize together???

I'll say it once more, I am not connected in any way as to ownership or management, I am a volunteer only and my volunteering job is that of the Tiger PA announcer at the ACC, "END OF STORY".

If you and PM can't comprehend that then I would suggest you sit on a SPIKE to get the "point".

sounds suspect to me. i for one cant picture "management and ownwers" sitting down with a "PA guy" to review webstats for every team in both leagues. i call bunk!
