Nothing justifies this one

I don't care if Cousins has the biggest mouth in the world, hockey players need to know where the line is.

Without suspensions to reinforce where that line is, they'll continue to be incidents like this one.

It all comes down to respect.

My 37 year old son who has played a lot of soccer and won all kinds of championships once told me his view on this.

He said,
"If you humilate the other guy and his team after you win a big one over him, it tells me a lot about his character. I always thought a guy who simply celebrates with his teammates is the guy I want on my team. Not the guy who wants to humble or humiliate his opponent."

I could not agree more.

Stay tuned.
