I have a theory on this since it is beyond coincidence of many facts that occured with this car. It was built in late 1953, early 1954. The body was made of aluminum, German built. You have to ask yourself....what was the most sought after metal during WW2??? Aluminum...on a global scale. I am sure that the aluminum from this car was witness to many deaths during WW2, less than 10 years later it is melted down and formed into the body of a Porshe 550. I think it had bad omen all through it. Maybe I'm wrong, but for something to be a bad luck charm on wheels and seeing what happened with this car goes beyond chance. I think it has alot of blood mixed with it.
