I wouldnt use it

I believe you are removing all of the benefits from the hot oil treatments. The clarifying shampoo removes all buildup that is on the hair shaft. The main build up on your hair shaft after a hot oil treatment is oil. You may want to either cut that part out of your routine or use a less harsh shampoo. Are you doing this because the hot oil treatment leaves your hair too oily? Let me know...I hope this helps...Richie
