An issue with the propose CCTV installation is its cost put at circa £17,500. Given that we hear that Leiston are considering installing several CCTVs (their problems being greater than ours and extending the year round) and that the purpose of ours is, as I understand it, primarily to monitor and discourage rowdy behaviour along Crag Path in the summer, would it not make sense to share the cost of one installation for use in Aldeburgh in the summer and at Leiston for the remainder of the year?
