The first phase of the centre (external make-good) was completed in the autumn on time and on budget. We then had to wait to amass more funds (it has been the policy ever since the Project started more than 10 years ago that we should never embark on any stage unless we could actually see the funds) which we now
have, to deal with the interior; contracts are about to be signed for
this work and we hope to be a long way down the road by Easter or soon
after. In the meantime, the Centre Management Committee/Users Group/DIY
Group meets Weds 25/01 at 7.30 pm in The Moot Hall to press ahead with the many other matters that now have to be dealt with. All are very welcome.
