      Hello there,

I am heading the Green Committee at the Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh and have concerns about environmental issues as well as litter. I have noticed that the beach especially near the marshes is covered in rubbish, in particular rubbish from fishing nets which are entangled in the litter. I feel this is dangerous to the wildlife around, e.g., birds and is not particularly attractive either, especially for a beautiful tourist resort like our village. I also have concerns that local domestic recyclable rubbish is picked up by the Council but that local businesses (that have more recyclable rubbish) have difficulty and more expense getting that disposed of. Are issues such as these discussed at your society meetings?

I’d love to hear back from you about these issues.

      Thanking you in advance.

      Kind regards,

      Eu May Chua
