Yeah, I heard it, too, but I couldn't figure out howcome neither one of the adults reacted to it, could you? I would have been horrified if my kid had said that, and she would have heard an EARFUL from me! So, I didn't say anything about it in the summary. It didn't make sense to me.
But now that you bring it up, I think the writers didn't have them react because they didn't want it to spoil the surprise too much, but they did want to foreshadow it. I have not seen these episodes yet, so I was completely surprised. Maybe they should have had the adults react. I didn't even connect it until you mentioned it.
