In Friday's episode, Victoria was worried when Benito showed up to remind Luis about the routine check up the firefighters need to do as part of their training and maintenance. Since its a medical check up, Victoria flipped out because for sure Luis would find out he is dying.
But Luis being as gallant as ever refuses to go because he is still on his honeymoon and wants to spend every moment with Victoria. How long is she going to be able to keep it from him?
Alma, devastated about what she found out about Roberto, had her friend the owner of the salon find out from the church if it was true. Was Roberto really going to marry someone else? And it is. So Alma, her mother and her friend went to the church to confront and surprise him when they got the surprise of their lives!!
Roberto is already married with three kids and is not even divorced and is marrying this tortilla owner's daughter and got Alma pregnant and promised to marry her. What a tangled web we weave when we practice to deceive. (Is that the saying?)
Anyway, Alma is forced to tell her father the truth so he can go after Roberto. But what does he say?--that he will not go confront him because Alma gave herself to him like a hooker and not wait until after they were married.
But the best part was when Rosario stood up to Manuel and even told him to leave the house forever. Manuel just looked at them and told them they would regret it later. Yeah, right!! Like they really like to be constantly abused by that poor excuse of a man.
Mauricio told Sandra that he got a job outside of the city paying a lot of money and couldn't decide if he wanted to take it because they have just started a relationship. Sandra told him to take it, because she is not one to commit. Mauricio was shocked by her answer. But now he needs to decide if he will go with his lady keeper or leave with Esteban...
Who also got the shock of his life...Andres wants to liquidate all his assets and leave Mexico. Partly because of Victoria. But he says he won't leave until he finds out the truth about Alfredo's dealings. Which means Esteban is not off the hook. Especially since he wants all of the Quintana businesses liquidated too. And I think that is where Esteban made most of his money, right? Using the Quintana name as a front?
Andres will, however, give Valentina her half of the money she deserves. How nice. Speaking of Valentina, she is still in her hide away. She tried to meet with Andres and had him meet her but Andres sent Esteban instead. She was shocked that he would do that. Esteban told her that Andres wants the divorce. Who knows what Valentina will do next.
