Two major players are now out of the picture!! Sandra got hers in the end. She had planned to get Esteban with the little bit of information she knew but what she didn't' expect was for him to try and strangle her.
And when Esteban was strangling her, Mauricio showed up to return her keys. He didn't see Esteban but did try to revive Sandra with a cup of cognac. But guess what? The cognac was laced with POISON!!! So in the end Sandra literally got a taste of her own medicine!!
And the little troll also got his!! And with his final episode, I finally learned his name really is Abel not Angel. Well, I didn't like him anyway. His was a death in the same manner of Sergio--shot in the groin by Esteban. He is just one killing machine, boy.
Then after he shot him there he didn't at least shoot him again to get him out of his misery instead he lets him suffer and torches his tailoring store. He even tells him to quiet down--that it doesn't hurt that bad. Yeah, right, why doesn't someone shoot him in his prized possession. OUCH!!
Anyway, Victoria met with Andres to thank him for what he is doing for Luis. But don't get her wrong she still does believe he is at fault for her father's death. But Andres vowed he will find out who the real "culpable" is. Won't Victoria be shocked when she finds out the man who is or was her father's best friend and her beloved godfather is the one who ruined him and in a way killed him?
The doctor's who saw Luis' test results have some hope for him. Meanwhile, Luis is slowly getting worse. He thinks the dizziness is because Victoria is pregnant. You know, the father's sympathetic symptoms of pregnancy. Funny. Lydia is becoming more aware of Luis' condition and keeps begging him to go the doctor. Luis, of course, refuses.
Now that Benito and Beatrice are set to get married, marriage is in the air for Charipas and Shakira. But Shakira is afraid of marriage and wants him to move in with her and live in the vecindad. How sweet.
I guess since for so long she has led a life of sin (being a prostitute) why should she do the right thing and get married to the man she loves? Just live in sin. Tsk, tsk! But at least they will be happy together!
