Stolen Equipment UPDATE:

Just to keep you all posted... I recovered 8 guns and 6 HPA tanks today. Some newbie thought he had found a super deal when he met a guy in "a small black truck" parked next to the Mayflower Diner selling paintball equipment. This newbie bought everything, took his bargains home and went online to look for someone local who filled HPA. He found the T-Square page and checked out the T-Square forum and... opps ... found the stolen equipment listing.

To the guy's credit he called imediately and brought the equipment over the next day. He said the guy in the small black truck told him he was selling the gear for a friend in Cabot who "had a field" but was geting out because of "cancer"!

It's nice to get some of the gear back but as you might imagine I would rather have the guy in the little black truck and the guy in Cabot. I'm hot on their ass, but if any of this story rings a bell and you feel you might have something to add please get in touch with me, anonymously if necessary.

(You can also call the Pulaski County Sheriff direct (501)-835-7390 and report information to Deputy Richard Jones concerning incident report 06-10689.)

If you hear any stories about "good deals" on Piranha guns or steel HPA tanks let me know. There are still guns and tanks out there, and as I came to realize later, some yellow ref masks! I've written off the paint, 13 cases of "white box HEAT, aqua shell breaks yellow, figuring I'll never find that in decent shape.

The serial number on these all black, side feed, bottom line, piranha rental guns are found on the safety side of the gun just in front of the field strip pin. A couple of the recovered guns had serial numbers sanded off. The tanks have "stolen from 501-985-7729" etched on the bottom edge and have the bottoms painted orange. The recovered tanks were ground down so hard to remove the etching that I debated whether they were still safe to use!

Thanks to all concerned.
