Freedom of Speech &Forum Manners

It's really great to see how quickly brug fanciers are finding YOUR new forum. The emphasis is definitely on YOUR forum...it is here for you. Yea for the ad-free formatting! And I'm sure we can all apprecite the freedom of speech that's, shall I say, somewhat suppressed elsewhere. There are no trips to Disneyland for asking if anyone has heard from Suzie Q. after her recent surgery or if anyone has heard the latest baseball score...we CAN stray from the topic a little without fear of Big Brother (who knew he was Mickey Mouse?!).

One thing I consider a cardinal rule is we must be polite and respectful to each other. We are free to disagree, but there cannot be any name calling or ridiculing what others say. Even if you're mostly teasing, be careful what you write...remember the other person can't see the wry smile on your face or the twinkle in your eye, nor hear the voice inflection of spoken words. It's all just black and white here and can easily be read as much harsher than you intended. Stick in a smiley face here and there to show you're using a little humor.

Everything has been wonderful, warm & fuzzy here - let's keep it that way. If you just have to speak harshly to someone...take it out of the forum. As my friend Carrie751 taught me, there are worse places to be sent than Disneyland

Sorry for the long post - everything is beautiful - thanks for your good efforts!
