Normally, I'm not a white brug lover, but they sure are showy and I may have to keep a couple more just for the contrast they provide. Pretty picture.

Very pretty, Ruth. I am not a white lover either, Shirley, but I use it throughout my yard for contrast - really makes the other colors show up ----

Ruth, that's a beauty! Had never heard of Snow Cone before now. Thanks for sharing it. If you ever have cuttings, I'd like to be on the recipient list.

Jarie
I edited my post I found out it wasn't Snow Cone and wanted everyone to know. You are still welcome to cuttings this fall. I'm sure the lady that sent it to me thought she had it label right but after looking at snow cone there is a big difference in them.

Ruth, would still enjoy having some cuttings of your beautiful white brug. Too bad it was marked wrong. Look forward to hearing from you.

Here is another picture taken this morning, you can tell they lose the yellow as they age, so now I'm told it is the real snow cone.

http://tinyurl.com/obmyh Here is another good place to go to check on brugs by picture and information. I don't think you have to be a member to use Plantfiles at Daves Garden. I logged out and tried it and it works for me.

Re: Another unknown white

Ruth, that's a pretty Brug!

Patrick, your yellow snow comment reminded me of a couple of Zappa songs:
Dreamed I was an Eskimo, Frozen wind began to blow, Under my boots 'n around my toe,
Frost had bit the ground below, Was a hundred degrees below zero...
And my momma cried: Nanook-a, no no...
An' she said with a tear in her eye:
WATCH OUT WHERE THE HUSKIES GO AN' DON'T YOU EAT THAT YELLOW SNOW...

Well right about that time, people, a fur trapper had the unmedicated audacity to jump up from behind
my igyaloo and he started in to whippin' on my fav'rite baby seal with a lead-filled snow shoe...
That got me just about as evil as an Eskimo boy can be ... so I bent down
an' I gathered up a generous mitten full of the deadly ... YELLOW SNOW!
The deadly Yellow Snow from right there where the huskies go
Whereupon I proceeded to take that mitten full of the deadly Yellow Snow Crystals and
rub it all into his beady little eyes with a vigorous circular motion...
And then, in a fit of anger, I pounced and I pounced again
GREAT GOOGLY-MOOGLY
I jumped up 'n down on the chest of the fur trapper
Well, he was very upset, as you can understand and rightly so because
The deadly Yellow Snow Crystals had deprived him of his sight...

I cut a bit out so it wouldn't be a huge post, these are links to the full lyrics:
Don't Eat the Yellow Snow
Nanook Rubs It
