History on this...
I got it in 2003 as a 3" ( yes inch) rooted green tip cutting from Dominion Seed House here in Canada. I figured it wouldn't survive but it did and bloomed the ugliest colour late fall that year I almost didn't save it. Happened I had room in the GH so did keep it.
Last year it grew more of a canopy than in height and had 'OK' flushes but was in the middle of the bed, surrounded by other, taller Brugs. I liked what I saw though so kept it pretty much in tact height wise, just trimmed it up canopy wise and brought it in. It was about 4 feet tall.
This year I planted in in another ( not as rich) garden close to the house. Now it is maybe 5' tall and the canopy is about 6 feet wide but restricted on the backside by other, taller Brugs.
I wrote Dominion Seed house this year to ask if they had any history on this Brug so it could be added to the ABADS Cultivar list for it but they haven't written back.
Maybe if I send them a new pic to use in their catalogue~~~~~~~
Here it is at 7:30 this morning ( yes it colours up to a nice peachy tone....
Ruth Ann,
What a beautiful brug, I love everything about it, the color, the flower shape. The ones with the simple, flairing shape really speak to me. Thank you for sharing pictures.

Nature, in order to be commanded must be obeyed. Sir Francis Bacon
that has a branched Y but that branch on the right can't grow as well as the one on the left and only is about 2 feet long with 12 blooms. It is restrained by the Brug next to it.
The only reason the branches are not breaking I believe is because this one is a slow grower and the wood matures/ripens/ages and only the last 10 inches or so on each branch is what you would call 'green' wood.....
Oooo, ahhh, what a beauty, Ruth Ann. Reminds me of my Ecuador Pink flush a couple of years ago. They all hung about the same height, straight down and bloomed about the same time. for sharing with us.

I hope it didn't expend itself so much that it rarely blooms next year. Has anyone else had that happen, huge flushes one year and tiny ones the next when the growing conditions were the same both years?
