This list is just names right off the top of my head, may edit this later and add more or delete a few or whatever changes are necessary after doing some eyeballin' at our brugs later, but wanted to post this now in case anyone is interested in receiving cuttings from us within the next couple weeks or so they can start thinking about what to speak for. We want to share with as many as possible... you may contact me privately or post here if that is proper -- Patrick? please let me know which is best.

Versicolor Peach
Miss Anna(she has a couple buds on her right now)
Chrissy
Tequila Sunrise
Michele -
Since our Chrissy has not bloomed yet, I don't have a photo but after seeing your post I emailed the guy we purchased it from and asked if he'd send a photo I could use to show.(we purchased the brug in person and if I'm not mistaken, there was a Chrissy blooming at his greenhouse at that time).
Since this is the second time recently that someone has asked me for a Chrissy photo, I also then did a search on the net and came up with a site that has Chrissy listed with info and photo. Her PodParent is Amber Rose and PollenParent is Butterfy. Hybridizer is Mary Usina.
You can find this at the 'other' well-known brug site by clicking where it says "Brugmansia Species" then "Brugmansia Family Tree" from there scroll all way to bottom and click on "enter the database" at the next page loaded type Chrissy in the search box then at the next page loaded click on the name Chrissy then scroll all the way to bottom of page for a large pic of the brug.
Ours came from someone who'd purchased it via ebay from the hybridizer... it bloomed this season for him and is true to name. [just for the record]
Since it might would take me a while to do a search of our site here to find 'rules' about naming other places in our posts... and it's right at 2am here right now... I'm hoping my 'instructions' can be deciphered well enough for anyone who is interested.
Was leery about actually posting the other site's name or a link to that site. I am many things but I ain't much of a rule-breaker... well, not intentionally anyhow.
Debra...you bring up a good point, at a very appropriate time when we're getting new members. One of the great things about our brug forum is there are very few rules we must follow.
Our #1 cardinal rule is we must treat one another kindly & with respect.
To avoid legal issues, we ask that no one post photos that are not their own (particularly don't copy pics from other sites and post them here), unless you have written permission. Likewise, don't quote text from other sources, especially entire articles.
We are free to mention the names of other sites (preferably not in a denigrating manner) and we can attach links to other sites as well...our forum is not in competition with any other; we are simply an alternative. Three things that differentiate our forum from others are NO membership fees, NO ads & NO high-handed censorship.

Thanks, Patrick for clarifying everything.
At the risk of bordering on crossing over a 'line' after claiming I ain't no troublemaker haha, I must say that another thing that distinguishes this forum from one or two others is the People who 'live here'. All abide by the #1 cardinal rule stated by you: in kindness and with respect to others. All are friendly and helpful to those with questions. And, while we all may have differing opinions on any given subject, you'll find no arguments or bad-mouthing here... no malice and no belittling. Any opinion posts are written and received following the #1 (and nearly only) rule - be kind, respect others. Since I've been here I have not once seen anything written that anyone else chimed in with criticism about, any replies were just others sharing their thoughts on the matter.
The more that participate, the more everyone learns and enjoys. This is a great place to come and talk about our shared love of Brugs and Datura... and other gardening talk... as well as any other subjects that come up along the way as offshoots of such. It's like coming and being with friends for whatever time we spend reading and typing here.
Thank you to all who make this place that kind of haven for everyone. Nice job everybody... at just being good online neighbors and friends.
Joy -- got you down to receive Peaches and Cream and Tropical Sunset cuttings. Will contact you when it gets closer to time to send and get your mailing address.
Wow hope your Jean Pasko blesses you soon with blooms... he HAS to next season, right?? The flowers on our Jean Pasko has not had the darker orange that I was expecting but he is still a pretty one.
Had intended to post photos before now but keep getting sidetracked here doing things outside in prep for our Friday 36 temp coming. ha
Will get the photos to the gallery today sometime, I'm hoping.
Michele - Got it noted to send you Chrissy cutting.
Glad I found her listed at BGI and could send folks there to see photo... we do have some brugs that are not listed either place.
Those of you who are requesting cuttings, I will contact you right before I cut to get your addresses, if that's ok. Or if you want you can go ahead and send address to my personal email whenever you want at kamilyen@nc.rr.com
Thanks!
Being new here and also being new with Brugs would someone explain how the cutting giving goes?
Do we just post somewhere what we'd like to grow ? Is there specific rules? , are exchanges expected??
Sorry I want to jump right in But still feel at a loss to prodical
Thanks
Diane

Debra,
Thank you for the cutting of Chrissy, I'm looking forward to my new addition. Is there anything on my list that you would like to have?
Diane and any other new members, I'm always happy to share with people new to brugs as is everyone else here. I think if you just ask one of us you'll get cuttings. I have some cuttings that I've rooted for a neighborhood garage sale but I'd just as soon send them to someone on here. Their nothing special or exotic but I enjoy them.

I will have cuttings in about 3 weeks, Diane, and I don't need anything in exchange. If you will email me, I will send you a list as soon as I am sure of all that I will have, and I can either mail them to you for postage - or - since you are nearby, you might want to pick them up.
Sorry, we don't have any more Creamsickle or Peaches and Cream cuttings available... they've all been spoken for. (to those who've already written me privately or requested those by posting here - you're covered)
Diane ---
If there is anything on the cuttings offer list I posted that you'd like to have, just email me at kamilyen@nc.rr.com and let me know, or post your cuttings request by clicking on respond to message, and let me know here. This works the same no matter which member is offering anything to share... you can contact them via their email address or here at the forum.
As for your question about exchanging ... yeah, if both members have things available to trade then that's always fun to do(that can all be worked out privately via emails) but it's certainly not always expected to have anything to give back for the cuttings. There are a lot of folks here that send cuttings and ask to only receive postage reimbursement in return.
Everyone here loves to share, so don't feel shy about speaking up.... I am fairly new here too, and have found this forum to have some of the nicest folks I've ever 'seen'.
Tonight I sent emails to everyone from the forum who has so kindly sent me notes lately with good wishes about my struggle with my 'bad feetsies' and my trying to cope with the meds I'm told I must be taking right now that cause me to be quite "out of it" most of the time.
I'm running way behind on answering emails and haven't been able to sit here long enough for couple weeks or so now long enough to read thru any posts either, so I have a lot to catch up on and will answer anything directed specifically to me here (and other posts too, for that matter ha) soon as I get chance to do so.
Since we sent out some cuttings on Saturday and the rest today, and a lot of you had Rosabelle on your request list, I want to explain why all of you got the small rooted cuttings of her instead of a larger unrooted one. We only have one Rosabelle plant and her main trunk only is 4" out from the ground before it y's off and then it has many stalks and y's in various places on both sides of that huge first y. Right now she has several seedpods at various stages of growth on her and we dug her up and are going to try to keep her going long enough to allow as many seedpods as possible to ripen. A little while ago I took quite a few cuttings offa her and we decided to send those and want to say that if anyone is unsatisfied to let us know and as soon as we cut our Rosabelle all to pieces, we can send a good-sized unrooted cutting.
Also, about any other requested cuttings you had: whenever possible I chose for you a rooted cutting instead of an unrooted one simply because was it easier (we were operating on a 'hurry up' timeframe not only cause I took steps this weekend and today to make sure I was clear-headed enough to do my part in all this by choosing the cuttings and wrapping them then passing them to Tom who then packaged them into their boxes and took to Post Office ---- but also because we have frost expected tonight so we wanted all the cuttings sent off to y'all before that happened)
Have missed reading here at the forum every day and look forward to maybe this week sometime being able to do a bit of reading and posting as I can manage it.
Thank you to everyone for the concern shown about my health. I swear, I do not know when I've ever known such great folks who are so caring. I'm pleased to be amongst y'all here, thank you!
Debra
Debra, I'm so glad to "see" you! You had just frost last night, I had the first hard freeze of the season. Worked really hard to cut down all my brugs to bring them in for cuttings for the people here. It just broke my heart to cut blooms off. I have buckets full of cuttings everywhere! I will be keeping my 2 month old grandson tommorrow, so I hope to get some boxes packed up! Just you take care of yourself!
Debra,Thanks for all your hard work getting the cuttings done.I know what madness THAT is!I've always had luck rooting stuff, proably cause my hubby is always breaking stuff that I root so he's turned me into a rooting-pro!So nice of Tom to help out.Only wish we could ALL be that lucky. But mine did bring me home an air potato....even though had no idea what he brought me.He picked it& a bannana at job site (I asked why he didn't bring the bannana plant.......He looked at me like I was nutz)
Now that your brug masacre is over you can rest-rest-rest.
I received my big beautiful Chrissy cutting yesterday from Tom and Debra, THANK YOU, Tom and Debra.
To any that wanted Rosabelle, I will have a few cuttings to share but they may not be rooted if you want them right away.
Joy, you better be careful with that air potato, those can be VERY invasive, I finally managed to get rid of mine by repeatedly spraying and pulling them out.
