I just dropped Pat off at the airport a bit ago, and he should be in the air by now on his way back to Seattle with a suitcase full of brugs and other plants.
I thought it would be fun to post him a welcome back thread.

Thanks Carrie, for the wonderful time. It was a great visit, as usual.

I had to sneak in a little nap after I got home, but now I'm continuing to get settled here at home. Looks like my brugcase (no such thing as a suitcase anymore!) made the journey well.

Yes, I'm afraid to get on the scales after this trip! I really got a great fix of chicken fried steak, biscuits and fried okra...along with lots of other good eats. Linda and Michele, I'm gonna enjoy the last of the okra tonight...yes, there WAS a doggie bag brought home! Carrie & I made a special run to pick up the okra yesterday afternoon. I think the salesclerk figured we were headed for a potluck and our contribution was fried okra...seems like we bought that much!

MN was kind while I was gone...she "watered" for me & everything fared well.

Thanks for the welcome home wishes, everyone! I'd better get off here for now & get busy with my new cuttings.
