Patrick, to answer your question first, it's one and the same. Sorry, I have become accustomed to calling that prolific bloomer CG and I shouldn't without being totally positive.

From the list of brugs I received from Nestor White when I first got started a few years ago,(I lost a few back then), it's about the only one it can be......but.........there is NO TAG attached. I know, I know, not a positive without DNA..LOL since there is no tag.
I've sent some cuttings of what I'm calling CG to Shirley so we'll see if they perform for her and see what she thinks next summer. If anyone else would like cuttings, it's one beautiful brugmansia and very easy to grow. If it performs in my yard like last year, my January will be a delight because it was full of yellow/orange trumpets last winter....better than snow. Kathy, if you'd still like a cutting, let me know. Right now the first fall flush is over but I expect it to start over very soon.
Joy, I believe what you are seeing is kolanche. It grows like a weed down here. Also, the scent of the pale yellow/white brug isn't much during the day but heavenly at night, especially on a humid night. That brug has a ton of blooms on it again and it just flushed a couple of weeks ago. Another great performer and easy to grow.

I'm not sure about the name of that snake but I think it's pretty common here in south TX and not poisonous.
Patrick, would be glad to send Carrie a cutting of the double pink hibiscus...or anyone else who might want one. It has really taken off this summer. Hot weather didn't seem to bother it much.
Have a great weekend everyone and stay warm.
