Just logged on an started checking previous and back messages. I am so far behind there is no way I'll ever catch up. Just wanted to say Hi. I've seen on the news that Washington State was having alot of flooding, Patrick and the others of you from that area, I hope it's missing you. We had about 4" of rain here in Broadway, NC yesterday. That's not flooding but it was enough for me. Hope everybody is well and safe. Gonna read for just a little while here and then it's nite nite time here. 4 am comes mighty early.

Hi, thanks for thinking of us. I would think Patrick would not be too flooded where he is, I am in Monroe (east of Snohomish), and one of the main N-S routes into and through Snohomish, and another east of Monroe are under water, which makes the N-S route I use overburdened. It is taking me over an hour- 1.5 hours to get out of Monroe, and it just took me 1.5 hours to go the last nine miles home!! I am going out of state this weekend, hope we get some sunshine!! All is well at my house...I'm on a hilltop, so no flood problems here. Rather soggy however! Most of our numerous river valleys are very flooded; some have set new records.

I think a number of us from Western Washington have decided it's a good time to leave home! I'm leaving the country next Wednesday for a week...home just in time for Turkey Day.

Gosh, I saw film on the news last night and it looked bad. I hope the rains stop soon, but isn't this your rainy season? It could end up worse than it already is...and that would be hard to deal with, I'm sure. Hang in there you guys. Maybe when you both get home...it will all be just a memory.

Mother Nature can be so rewarding and cruel at the same time. It's certainly been one of those years. Often, we're crying for rain but when it comes like you're getting it, that's worrisome. We wish you the best and pray that it stops soon.

Glad to hear all's well there, Patrick. We were thinking about those of you up there early this morning when we heard it on the news.

I fell asleep last night before the news, so I didn't know a thing about it! Sorry it's so soggy up there in the PNW. Rain, Rain, go away...
