Fundy?

Hi everyone, Yesterday at work I was trying to explain to a girl I work with about the plant I am growing now. She is from Salvador. I couldn't get it across to her what I was talking about so today I took her a picture of a Brug. She knew right away what it was and she said they call it fundy. She wrote it on a piece of paper because I wanted to look it up on the computer when I got home. Maybe it's just a nickname they give it there because nothing revelant came up when I tried. She said there they are mostly white but they grow everywhere. I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of them as fundy?

I found lots of other references to 'fundy', but none were about a plant.

I'll have to ask my housekeeper. She's originally from El Salvador. I know the brugs are familiar to her because she's told me that they grow "at home".
